Senior safety.
Changes that let someone stay in the home they know. If you live out of town, we handle it here and keep you posted with photos as we go.
- Free walkthrough
- Written estimate, usually in 48 hours
- Photos as we go
Where we usually start.

Bathroom safety
The bathroom is where most falls happen. We take out the step and give someone something solid to hold.
- Grab bars fixed into framing, not drywall
- The step into the tub taken out
- A floor that is not slippery wet

Steps and handrails
Getting to the front door should not be the hardest part of the day.
- Rails that hold when you lean on them
- Steps made even again
- A light that comes on at the door

Light and doorways
Most falls happen on the way somewhere, in the dark, on something small.
- Brighter stairs and hallways
- Doorways widened for a walker
- Thresholds levelled off
See a walk in conversion →See a handrail made solid →See floors levelled off →
What the quote covers.
The commonest reason a quote comes in higher than expected is that the first one left something out. Ours does not.
In every senior safety job
- A walkthrough of the whole home, not just the room you called about
- Grab bars anchored into framing
- Handrails at the correct height
- Step and stair repair
- Improved lighting on stairs and in hallways
- A written list of what we found, in priority order
Quoted separately
- Any personal care, medical or daily living help, we do not provide it
- Medical equipment supply
- Structural repair found during the walkthrough
- Permit fees where the city requires them
What moves the number.
How many items
Most homes need a handful of changes. We price them per item so you can choose.
Bathroom or whole home
A grab bar is a morning. A walk in conversion is a renovation.
Wall construction
Anchoring into plaster and lath takes longer than into modern framing.
Entry height
More steps up to the door means a longer ramp run.
Doorway widening
Whether a wall is carrying load decides how big that job is.
How fast it is needed
Tell us if there is a hospital discharge date and we will sequence around it.
Senior safety questions.
My parent lives in Cleveland and I do not. Can you deal with me?
What should we do first?
Do you provide care or help around the house?
How fast can you come out?
Other services.
Most homes need more than one thing. Doing them on one visit costs less than three separate trips.
